Tips to help you care for your garments

Keep your NNT garments looking like new by following these simple care instructions. NNT fabrics have been carefully selected and tested for their quality and ability to perform to the highest standards. Our fabrics are not only easy to wear, but easy to care for too. If in doubt, always follow the care instructions on the label inside your garment.

 

Suiting Jackets

Clean:

  • Dry clean only
  • To maintain the life of wool blend jackets minimise the frequency of dry cleaning, it is recommended to dry clean after about 10 wears
  • For stain removal, sponge area with damp cloth and hang jacket to dry

Care:

  • Hang your jacket on a broad hanger to help it keep shape
  • Hang in steamy bathroom to remove creases, ensure it does not become wet
  • Avoid hanging in direct sunlight
  • Iron on wool setting using an ironing cloth to avoid shine marks

Knitwear

Clean:

  • Luke warm hand wash or dry clean

Care:

  • If washing, use a wool approved detergent
  • Dry flat in shade
  • Do not tumble dry
  • Do not bleach or soak
  • Iron garment inside out using wool setting to avoid shine marks

Cotton Rich Shirt

Clean:

  • Luke warm hand wash or machine wash

Care:

  • Separate light and dark colours
  • Do not bleach or soak
  • Dry in shade
  • Do not tumble dry
  • Iron on moderate setting

Pants / Trousers / Skirts

Clean:

  • Dry clean or gentle hand/machine wash

Care:

  • If washing, separate light and dark items
  • Gentle wash, inside out using wool approved detergent
  • Do not wring
  • Dry in shade
  • Do not bleach or soak
  • Do not tumble dry
  • Iron on wool setting using an ironing cloth to avoid shine marks

Polyester Shirts & Tops

Clean:

  • Machine wash

Care:

  • Separate light and dark colours
  • Do not bleach or soak
  • Dry in shade
  • Do not tumble dry
  • If required iron on cool to moderate setting

Trench Coat and Outerwear

Clean:

  • Dry clean

Care:

  • For best results dry clean only
  • Hang on a hanger to keep shape
  • Avoid hanging in direct sunlight
  • Use steamer to refresh
